How I Trained Victoria Secret Models: The Real Supermodel Workout Method

The Inside Story of Modelfit, Bodies By P, and the Training Method That Creates the Victoria Secret Body

The Victoria Secret body is the most coveted physique in our culture. When I first started training women in 2013, nearly every single one showed me a picture of what they wanted to look like and it was always a Victoria Secret model.

Twelve years later, little has changed.

Despite culture shifting away from openly admitting it, despite Victoria Secret diversifying their runway shows, the truth remains: women still want the Victoria Secret body.

From 2000 to 2019, any trainer who could create the VS body type would rise to the top of the trainer hierarchy. Particular in NYC, the epicenter of supermodels. This is where they all lived, worked, and set the standard, this was everything. The standard of training was extraordinarily high because the results were being measure against the world’s most flawless bodies.

This is the story of how I learned to create that body. How I went from cleaning weights off gym floors to training alongside Candice Swanepoel. How I discovered the method that transforms everyday women into runway-ready physiques. And why, after years of that method being diluted and nearly lost, I’m bringing it back in its purest form.

The Beginning: When I Discovered the Victoria Secret Workout World

I started this journey in 2013 at Equinox Soho, ground zero for supermodel training culture in New York City. Everyone saw the models. Everyone wanted to look like them. Everyone wondered: How do they train?

Within days, I was scouring the internet for Victoria Secret workouts, desperate to learn more. My background until then was weightlifting and sports conditioning. Traditional gym training which i always knew were completely wrong for creating the feminine, sculpted Victoria Secret aesthetic.

Divine Intervention: Meeting Justin Gelband (The Supermodel Trainer)

By a twist of fate, what I now consider divine intervention, I met Justin Gelband at a CPR class in fall 2013.

Justin Gelband was THE trainer to all the supermodels. He was featured in Victoria Secret’s Train Like an Angel series, the exact videos I had been studying obsessively. He trained Candice Swanepoel, Miranda Kerr, Karlie Kloss, and nearly every Victoria Secret Angel who walked the runway.

We hit it off with eachother in that CPR, continue afterwards with a long conversation as we walked back downtown and had come to the conclusion we were very aligned in how we saw women’s fitness. Right there and then he asked me work with him at his new studio opening that winter, I knew my life was about to change.

That studio was Modelfit. and working thereit would become one of the most defining moments of my career, igniting my already burning passion for fitness into an obsession with mastering body transformation and understand the female body.

Learning the Modelfit Method: “Forget Everything You Know”

On my first day learning from Gelband, the first words from his mouth were:

“Forget everything you know about fitness.”

This is still what I tell people today when they enter my training world.

I spent months learning an entirely new way of exercise from Gelband before Modelfit officially opened, a method so different from traditional training that it felt like learning a completely new language.

Day One at Modelfit: Training Victoria Secret Angels

Modelfit finally opened in the winter of 2014 and on day oneI witnessed something that would change my understanding of fitness forever. Justin’s line up of clients went like this and i got to sit on a lot of his sessions so I could learn.

  • Client #1: Candice Swanepoel

  • Client #2: Irina Shayk

  • Client #3: Karlie Kloss

  • Client #4: Anne V

In a matter of months, I went from cleaning weights off gym floors to learning the most revolutionary workout method next to the most incredible bodies in the world.

This method was a form of art, fitness’s best kept secret and that with the right knowledge of it and the right tools, you could sculpt almost anyone’s body into a work of art, there was away to change your body type and this was it.

No one understood this like Gelband did. Month after month, I watched him transform people’s bodies. It was like magic, and no one else was capable of doing what he was doing. At first I thought he has some god like power to change people (I really did) but I soon learned that what he was doing was actually very complicated and difficult to understand. To wield such transformational power, you had to think through an entirely different paradigm of fitness, I was deteremined to understand this paradigm and eventually I would.

My Obsession: Studying Every Move, Every Exercise

I was captivated by this ability. For the next two years, I worked nearly every day to acquire this skill.

Gelband was a workaholic, he never stopped, so neither did I. I watched him every single day. He was carving out the most coveted bodies in the world, including Taylor Swift, who I got to work out next to every day (I trained her brother, Austin).

I studied every move, every exercise, every sequence. It became my religion.

I would work 8–10 hours a day training all different types of women. At first, my results were slow. But as the months went on, I started finding magic of my own, bodies transforming in ways I had never seen with traditional training.

The Secret Gelband Taught Me: X-Ray Vision

Justin worked with me every day to fine-tune what I was doing, but one thing he told me changed everything:

“If you want to truly transform someone’s body, you must be an expert on how it works, how all the muscles and joints are operating on the inside. You must have X-ray vision of how everything is functioning underneath the skin.”

He continued:

“To create this body type, you must have the entire system working perfection no obstructions, no imbalances. Only then can you start sculpting the body like an artist and you can start chiseling away at their physique”

This was the missing piece. Most trainers just throw exercises at people for sweat for a “hard workout”. We were rebuilding their entire movement system first. comepletely recreating the human from the ground up.

The Gray Institute: Where I Learned Physical Therapy for Body Transformation

It was at this time in 2015 that I enrolled at the Gray Institute , a unique physical therapy training program that would become the second most life-changing experience of my career.

This wasn’t typical physical therapy. It was a year-long intensive program teaching me how to read and fix the body in ways no one else understood. It was niche, different, and the entire basis of what I now call ThreeForm.

I was now armed with:

  • The artistry of Gelband’s method

  • The biomechanical knowledge of physical therapy

  • The mentor who had transformed every supermodel

  • Access to endless clients to practice on to master my craft

I was always training and teaching classes.

I cleared my 10,000 hours in no time. In that period, I worked with models, actresses, career women, moms, retired women reclaiming their bodies, young women who had never worked out, disabled women, former athletes and everyone in between. In that time I never had a preplanned workout for any client and I was constantly innovating and creating new exercises.

When the partners of Modelfit split up and Gelband left NYC, I had two options. Become the face of Model fit or open my own studio where I could practice my artistry and where I could keep the method alive.

I opened Bodies by P at 112 Bowery.

By now, I had my own impressive client list, “turning mortals into models” as one journalist wrote. From here, I would build on everything I learned at Modelfit, evolve, and get even more focused on creating the Victoria Secret body. I carried a large numbers of Modelfit clients over other my studio and rapidly gained notoriety in the neighborhood. Before long I had many lower level models coming in to try and change there bodies to get into the next VS show

Two of those models were Blanca Padilla and Nadine Leopold., who after training rigorously with me for 6 months were able to make the cut over 100s of other girls to walk in the show.

I traveled to Shanghai to attend the show, and at that moment, I created my own roster of VS supermodels who after seeing how my clients transformed would train with me once we were al back in the states. This luanched me into the next era of my fitness career.

The P.volve Era: Scaling the Method (And Losing It)

At this time, I was being approached by investors weekly to help expand my business, Up until now, I was only working by myself and the demand was overwhelming.

Finally, my ex-wife convinced me to let her father invest in Bodies by P to help scale my equipment ideas and method. We changed the name from Bodies by P to P.volve.

My Bowery studio, quaint and loved by all my clients, became ground zero for the launch of P.volve. I hired three women from the Midwest to help me build it.

Within three years, the relationship soured.

The magic of Modelfit and Bodies by P was gone, sacrificed on the altar of corporatism, mass appeal, and partners that tried to imprint there 2000s Beach Body culture onto this one of a kind fitness movement.

I left the company I started in 2020, and with me came the method that has since become diluted and lost. The method of transforming everyday women to look like runway models was buried under corporate interests.

he Body Positivity Era: When the Method Nearly Died

In 2020, the body positivity movement had reached its peak. Any talk of “looking a certain way” was quickly ridiculed. When I left P.volve, I considered letting the method die completely.

Even Gelband wasn’t teaching this method anymore on his platform. The era was over. The magic was gone. Even the Victoria Secret Fashion was canceled for a couple years

At the time, I needed a break from seven years of working seven days a week. I was burned out.

ThreeForm: The Quiet Rebirth (2021–2025)

In late 2021, I soft-launched ThreeForm, meant to be a place for many of my former clients to continue training with me. It wasn’t until I stepped away and received an out pouring of DMs from people all across the world telling me how much this method changed there life.

The method was tweaked slightly, it was three parts:

  1. Physical therapy (fixing imbalances and movement dysfunction)

  2. Strength building (creating muscle density and power)

  3. Aesthetics (sculpting the Victoria Secret body features)

An exceptionally well-rounded program designed to serve anyone in need of my help, whether they wanted to look incredible, clear out injuries, or build functional strength.

No marketing. No advertising. It was just aword-of-mouth online business created to help people on an individual level and chance for me to continue learning about the women in the fitness space who still wanted what everyone else stopped admitting they wanted.

The Victoria Secret body.

2026: The Flagship Studio Opens in Soho

Now it is 2026.

ThreeForm is launching its flagship studio in Soho in late January.

This will become the new artist studio for transforming women’s bodies. It will be the place of rebirth for the method that is so unique and effective that somehow, no one in the fitness market has been able to replicate it, a longtime fear of Gelband’s, mine, and P.volve’s through the years.

The new studio in the heart of Soho will focus on re-creating the magic that was built in the decade before it.

With it, I will finally explain the method publicly, the ideas behind it, the science, and how it works. Something I have been scared to share until now for fear of influencers copying my every move.

The science behind the method has enormous depth. It took me years to understand it all and even longer to feel ready to talk about it publicly.

Why the Victoria Secret Body Never Stopped Being What Women Wanted

I ask everyone single person who inquires about joining the ThreeForm what their goals are and I still get the same response. They want the lean sculpted thighs, the lifted glutes, the sculpted arms, the flat abs, the feminine silhouette, I even keep hearing the term “thigh gap”, as much as those words have been demonized.

Now, I’m bringing the real method back. Not the watered-down version. Not the mass-market compromise designed to appeal to everyone and offend no one. I might even bring back “Thigh Gap Thursday” My most popular class that the New York Post did a hit piece on.

This Method Isn’t for Everyone (And It Never Was)

This is for the woman who is tired of training methods that make her feel bulky instead of feminine. Tired of workouts that break her body down instead of sculpting it into art.

This is for the woman who knows what she wants and is willing to commit to the process of getting it.

The woman who understands that transformation isn’t a 30-day challenge, it’s a mastery that unfolds over months and becomes a permanent part of who you are.

The Magic Is Back

The studio opens in late January 2026.

The method that was buried under corporate interests and cultural pressure is being resurrected in its purest form.

If you have been searching for this, if you have tried everything else and still don’t have the body you want, this is for you.

The doors are opening and the method is here. I am ready to show you what real body transformation looks like when it’s done by someone who has spent over a decade perfecting the art of sculpting the female form.

Welcome to ThreeForm. Welcome to the method that creates the Victoria Secret body.
